VeriShow 4.9.3 | Release Notes

This new version of VeriShow includes a new app, various improvements and bug fixes.

New Share Videos App

A new Share Videos app is now available to the agent in the main menu. When clicked, it is possible to share previously uploaded videos (in the VeriShow account go to Account Content > Manage Videos). Videos can be played in synchronization, paused and annotated by the agent and customer. The ability to share videos was moved from the Share File app to this app for improved user experience.

Various Improvements

  • Correct orientation in uploaded images – images that are opened from the PC or Mobile device using the Visitor’s Doc app, are now automatically rotated if required, to ensure that the content is view in correct orientation.
  • Significantly shorter incoming call notification – the time that passes between when the visitor clicks the live help button to join a session and when it rings at the agent side to answer has been shorted by up to 10 seconds. This means that calls can be answered significantly quicker providing an better customer experience.
  • Improved mobile/tablet session behavior – various items that specifically relate to connection/disconnection and idle time have been improved.

Bug fixes

The following issues have been addressed:

  • Files from company server – In this feature that allows companies to bulk upload content to their account and then share it in the session with customers using the Share File app; there was a critical issue that prevented using this featured.
  • Co-browsing page position in the LivePerson integration – The viewed page in co-browsing in the LivePerson console was positioned incorrectly at times.
  • White Labeling (Enterprise) account Auto-invite issue – Auto-invite in Enterprise accounts prevented the use of this feature and now works correctly.
  • Tablet detection – for a short period there was an issue with detecting that the device used by the visitor is a tablet device.
  • Sharing a file from ‘My Account’ with Mobile/Tablet devices – an issue preventing content sharing from My Account has been addressed.
  • Open from URL – an issue preventing the user from pasting a URL has been resolved.
